1776 Kustom Truck Fabrication
The shop

Built Here.

Family-owned. South Dakota grit. We weld trucks like they're parked in our own driveway.

1776 Kustom Truck Fab started where most shops start: a garage, one welder, and a chip on the shoulder. We'd both spent years in production shops watching corners get cut, builds get rushed, and customers get told that custom meant whatever the catalog could ship.

We weren't buying it. Custom means custom. So we opened our own shop, put our own names on the wall, and built it on one rule: every weld we lay, we'd be willing to put under our own truck.

Today the shop is 10,000 square feet of bays, lifts, welders, a plasma table, a press brake, a paint booth, and a dyno. Our crew has 35+ years of combined fab experience. We build for owners across South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska, and we ship the lower 48 when somebody finds us from further out.

The 1776 in our name isn't flag-waving. It's independence. We do the work the way it should be done, not the way the shortcut says. Built free. That's the rule.
